Our 4th annual Dearth Christmas Party Extravaganza was a success!! This years theme was, "A Night Before Christmas...Remembering what it's like to be a kid again." It was the most COMFORTABLE party I've ever had since the dress code was PJ's ONLY! We had a siamese snowflake cutting contest, a reading of "The Night Before Christmas" with a twist, we played a PowerPoint game based on old toys, music, movies, and T.V. shows we all grew up with, we sang some Christmas Karaoke and while everyone was singing, "Here comes Santa Clause" guess who stopped by??? Yep, Santa himself made a surprise visit to my home giving everyone a chance to sit on his knee and tell him what they wanted for Christmas! Thanks again Santa, you were great! Finally, we had our traditional Not so Nice White Elephant Gift Exchange leaving everyone with one more piece of junk than they had before they came over!
A BIG ThAnKs to everyone who came and played along with all of our silly games, it makes for good memories. Thanks to Bethany for being our party photographer, those pictures will be treasured always. Thanks Reece for asking Santa to stop by, you and the merry man are tight! Thanks Libby for making Jared's favorite German Chocolate Cupcakes for his birthday surprise, he ate those cupcakes for breakfast, lunch and dinner!! I can't wait for next years party...I wonder what the theme will be. :) Love you all!!!
